I live in Jersey but was visiting a family friend this weekend in Fishkill, NY. After picking up some food on Saturday evening, my car refused to start. Left my car there and came back the next morning; which also happened to be Superbowl Sunday. Called Geico who sent someone over to check the battery. He told me it's my starter and that I should call a tow truck. My family friend uses "Art & John's," and sent me their info. I spoke with John Coen and although he told me he could not do anything until tomorrow, he stayed with me on the phone for 15 minutes; giving me ideas and suggestions. I didn't even ask him for help or tips. I only asked if someone could fix my car today. I guess he could sense the panic in my voice and knew I that I would be stuck here until tomorrow. We tried different things and 15 minutes later, my car started. I was so happy. Imagine the excitement I felt after hours of trying to get it working! I cannot speak for their quality of work. But, if someone is that patient, informative and compassionate enough to assist a stranger with no monetary reciprocation, then clearly this is someone that cares about his company and knows what the hell he is doing. You don't find many people like that anymore.
